Christmas in the Park

20-Foot Tall Christmas Tree

Christmastime doesn’t start without an official tree lighting. On December 13th at Bud Snyder Park in Willits, residents will gather to bring to life a magnificent 20-foot tall Christmas tree, complete with festivities suited to the season. Food and refreshments will be provided to all attendees, and live music will lend a buzzy energy to the atmosphere.

Like any classic Mendocino County holiday event, the tree lighting also features hot cocoa, cookies and carols from local choirs. While tree lightings may go overlooked by the residents of many cities, they can serve as the perfect ritual to promote good cheer and the spirit of the holidays.
